Final Part: 2
A.   Things I like about this class is that It’s very quiet and I can type. Another thing I like about this class is that I can relax and not have to do a lot. Another thing I don’t like about this class is that the routine sometime gets boring and that we don’t learn a lot other than just typing.
B.   There’s nothing really I would suggest improving the class.
C.   I did do my best in the class. I took this class I my freshmen year and I tried as hard to pass that class in this class. I just want to get high school over with and graduate.
D.  I am reading my life planning goals every day. I read them because they inspire me and it is something I want to do later on in life. Nothings impossible unless you try it and put your mind to it. Knowing I have that many life goals surprised me because I was not aware of how much I want to accomplish in life.
E.   I am committed to being A CTR person. I’m committed because I want the best for me in life and I do not want to commit any wrongful mistakes ever again. Doing the right thing always makes someone feel good as opposed to doing the wrong thing. Your actions reflect a lot in your future life and its always important to make good choices.

F.   What I will promise to do to take responsibility for my body, mind, and soul is to consume the right things for my body, and work out a lot and maintain being health. Another thing I promise to do is read a bit more make my brain think develop more skills and improve my working skills in school to keep my mind aware of what’s going on but to also relax a bit to make my mind at ease and not stress. In addition I will also read the bible and devote more time for God. He’s my only savior and can help me ease my worries, my sadness, and my problems. Hes always listening and guiding me in the right direction. In general he helps ease my spirit and feel good.
Final: Part 1
My project had to be on the health innovation of face transplant. My group mates were Juan Velasco, Milton Gamez, Kevin Sanchez, and Rubi Lazo. At first we started off with giving each other group roles and who was in charge of what. Then as time went by we got time to research and take down note on particular things of face transplants. For chemistry we had to write an essay about our part of the health innovation and turn it in. Then we started to practice our lines and start preparing for the presentation. It was not nerve wrecking to know you had to present or give a complex presentation. Then me and my group mates started working on the Power point making sure it was neat and readable.
Later on we started looking for our credible sources and we only found one site that gave us accurate information on face transplantation. If it was not for doctor Bohdam Pomahac we would of not got enough information for face transplant. When it was getting closer to present me and my group mates would meet up and practice at a Library and deliver our speech to one another to make sure we were not stuttering and getting nervous. When it was like 3 days till our presentation me and my group members practiced everything one more time in front of our Advisory class and made sure everything was on point.

Finally when it was time to present my group mates were so worried. We had 5 minutes till our group presented and we could not maintain ourselves because of our fears. When it was time to present you could tell we were nervous and scared for our feedback. Our presentation started of rocky because my group mate froze up and got suck and a word could not get out of his mouth. The beginning was horrible but the ending was pretty great I can’t complaint. I was thankful for the group I got because we got closer and we all put effort to our presentation. I was proud of everyone especially the boys in my group because they tried so hard to sound good and deliver a great speech of their parts. If I could back to re-live that experience I could because if it was not for God we would of not did as well as we did that day so I’m forever grateful and thankful.

“When I do good I feel good. When I do bad I feel bad.”

Abraham Lincoln
Reflection: Always doing something bad makes you fill with guilt and worry. Doing a bad action always comes back and bites you in the butt. There’s always that worry or that doubting thought about what you did. Always doing what’s right and knowing you aren’t doing nothing wrong makes you feel good. With doing something good you never worry about the consequences or what’s the worst thing that can happen. Everybody can reflect upon this quote and it’s very influential.

Examples: Helping your elders with cleaning or anything they need help in always makes you feel good. Doing something behind your parents back and knowing how greatly it can affect you doesn’t make you feel good it makes you feel horrible.

“We need the courage to start and continue what we should do, and the courage to stop what we shouldn’t do.”
Richard L. Evans

Reflection: People obviously know what’s wrong from right, and it shouldn’t be a problem. People choose to do what they want in life and what decisions to make. It’s always better to do the right things in life and not commit negatives.

Patrick was a little boy who was at the desert with his family and he decided to go for a walk. Unaware of what can be around him and the creatures that live in the desert he decided to wear sandals instead of his shoes. He was warned to wear shoes but he decided to wear sandals. After going a couple of feet away from his parents and the car he went walking and felt a sharp pain on his foot, little that he knows he ended up getting bit by a scorpion. He yelled out for his parents and they took him to the nearest hospital two hours away. Luckily he was fine but he learned a lesson.

Reflection: Always doing what you’re told is the greatest thing you can do. You always want to avoid the negatives of not listening and disobeying. After what happened to this little boy it wasn’t pleasant he was in a lot of pain after that little scorpion bite and I wouldn’t want to go through that situation. It’s always better to take precaution and just do what you’re told and not do things the easy way out.
Student Success Statement
“Always do right.”
Mark Twain

Reflection: I completely agree with Mark Twain’s quote. Always doing right can lead to big positive things. It’s a blessing to know when you do something right and in return you get something bigger and better. Doing the right things always benefits someone in big things or little things but either way we should never fall to negativity.

When you tell one lie it leads to Another
Paul Hatch
When you tell one lie, it leads to another
So you tell two lies to cover each other
Then you tell three lies and, Oh Brother,
You’re in trouble up to your ears!
So you tell four lies to try to protect you
Then you tell five lies so folks won’t suspect
You
Then you tell six lies and you’ll collect
A life filled with worries and fears
‘Cause you can’t remember how many lies
You’ve told
And half the things you say aren’t true
And sometime you’ll slip up, you’ll trip up
And then
Whatever will become of you?
So you lie and lie without even trying
And each lie you tell will keep
Multiplying
‘Till the whole wide world will know
You’re lying
Then you’ll be
Suspected
Detected
Rejected
Neglected
Disliked
And you should!
When you lie, you’re closing the door

On everything good

“When you Tell One Lie, it leads to Another.”
Paul Hatch

Reflection: Lying is never a good answer to get out of a situation. After a couple of lies it becomes a problem. Being a lier is dishonest, negative, and the wrong thing to do. Im no saint I’ve had my situations where I’ve lied but it ends up making me feel guilty.

1. Can people trust me to do what’s right?
2. Am I committed to doing my very best?
3. Do I treat people the way I want to be treated?
“If the answers to these questions are YES, there is no way you can fail.”
Lou Holtz

Reflection: Always being fair and a calm collective person is the right thing to do. Treating everyone equally as you should always be applied to our daily lives. These questions are good reflective questions and everyone should apply them.

Student Success Statement
Physical Fitness
“Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. The relationship between the soundness of the body and the activities of the mind is subtle and complex. Much is not yet understood. But we do know what the Greeks knew:  the intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong.”
President John F. Kennedy

Reflection: This quote goes alongside with positivity. Without moving or being active your mind won’t function correctly and you won’t gain any knowledge. Being healthy and always maintaining a healthy body can be beneficial cause it can make learning easier for an individual.
