One great act of kindness was when this basketball team
coach let this disabled kid play on the team. He was all up to losing to let
the kid play on the team to make him happy. Not a lot of people like losing,
but to the coach it was worth it all. The immense support the coach got was a
great thing. Even though they lost to the rival team, they did not let that get
in the way and they still felt like they won.

Success Statement
“Kindness
is the essence of greatness.”
Joseph
B. Wirthlin
Reflection: Being kind is probably a characteristic that
goes along with being a person of greatness. There is a lot of dilemmas with
what greatness is or what greatness means to people. Being a great person is
always being positive, helping others and being the best individual you can be.

Success Statement
“If
it is not right do not do it, if it is not true do not say it.”
Marcus
Aurelius
Reflection:
Loyalty is all when it comes to stuff like this. A lot of people have the
tendency to always lie and make up stuff because they think it’s cool. It’s
basically like spreading rumors or creating them. I completely agree with this
statement because it is the truth.
Dental Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities: Takes patient blood pressure takes teeth x rays and develops the picture. A dental assistant also helps the dentist with the procedure.
Salary: $23,000-$47,580
Education: have graduated from an accredited dental assisting/dental hygiene program,
have a high school diploma, or equivalent, and a minimum of 3,500 hours of approved work experience, OR
• have previously held DANB CDA® status, or have graduated from an accredited DDS or DMD program, or graduated from a dental degree program abroad.
Reflection: Being a dentist assistant is something I’m not looking forward to be in my future. Dental jobs have never gotten my attention let alone teeth. I love to take care of my teeth but when it comes to the teeth of other individuals it does not satisfy me at all.

Success Statement
“It may make a difference to all eternity whether we do
right or wrong today.”
James
Freeman Clark
Reflection:
Leaving a good name and legacy behind is always something important. A lot of people want to be remembered once
they become oblivion. At the end a lot of people always stick to their own
dilemma of what should be left behind, but always being a positive person can
always help.
Dental
Lab Technician
Duties & Responsibilities: Work closely with the
dentist and help treat and correct the device that’s going in the individual’s
mouth. They also help recreate the device of the mouth.
Salary: $37,690
Education: passing an examination that evaluates their technical skills and
knowledge.
Reflection:
Being a Dental lab technician seems like a pretty easy steady job. This job is
not in my interest but I’d probably look more into it in the future. The job
also pays well but I don’t think I can be financially stable let alone entertained
by getting this job. I will look into it but I know how much I want to gain and
earn when it comes down financially.

Veterans
Day
Veterans Day is an official United States holiday that
honors people who have served in the Armed forces of the US. This holiday is a federal holiday and is
similar to other holidays like Armistice Day and Remembrance Day.
Reflection: To many people Veterans Day is an important
holiday. It’s a day to celebrate the very courageous people that are fighting
and will die for the country. This holiday being implemented as a federal
holiday is such a positive thing that has been done.

W.
Clement Stone
1. “Have
the courage to say no.
2. Have
the courage to face the truth
3. Do the
right thing because it is right.”
Reflection: Everyone has their own
definition and I don’t think it requires for another human to give us their
opinion of integrity because at the end of the day we all stick to what we
desire of the word. Living in integrity is the way you want to live in and
define it. This list I completely disagree with it. I don’t need to have a list
tell me how to live the right way or to make me think what the subject
specifically means. Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion and this is not
only ridiculous but irrelevant.

“He
that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be
destroyed”
Proverbs
13:20
Reflection:
Making wise choices in life is always very important. Wise choices can help you
be a better person in life and help you achieve a lot of things in a positive
way. Sometimes people get influenced to do the wrong things but if you’re
better than that and wise in that knowledge than you can overcome the
temptation and strive for positivity.
